Born in Concord, NH, Dan grew up just down the road from Bryar's Motorsport Park in Loudon, New Hampshire. Now known as (NHMS) New Hampshire Motor Speedway. From the first time he witnessed motor sports he was hooked and knew that this passion would only grow into his main career focus. In 1988 Dan watched the return of Grand Prix Motorcycle racing to the United States, held at the world famous Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, CA. At the end of the TV broadcast he turned to all his family and friends in the room and said "that is where I'm going to live." Just a few months later Dan got on a plane and moved to the West Coast in search of his dreams. Not long after his arrival to the West Coast he got his ticket into the industry. An acquaintance asked him if he wanted to be a cameraman's spotter for the production company taping a round of World Superbike out at Laguna Seca. Dan jumped at the chance to be allowed to be part of the behind-the-scene's action, at a World caliber racing event. During the race weekend Dan found himself having an all access pass that let him stand next to all the world class photographers working the race. He could not believe that these people were the same individuals that had taken all the pictures that he had gazed upon for years in numerous industry magazines, newspapers and other media outlets.
Just a short time after his introduction to the world of professional sports, Dan started his on the job training of sport's photography. He had taken photography classes during his college years, but nothing could replace the hands on training that he would recieve over the next 20 years. During his years he has worked for and his work has appeared in such places as ESPN TV, ESPN.com, Fox Sports, MotoGP.com and many other media outlets. Dan's belief is every shoot is a unique challenge, with unlimited and endless possibilities. Dan's mission statement is "I love creating vibrant, exciting and memorable imagery for all my clients".
Although Dan is highly in demand, he is always open to new projects.
Thanks Again,
